My spouse, a couple of friends, and I just completed a 7-night cruise on the Navigator of the Seas leaving out of the Port of Galveston. Our cruise of the Western Caribbean included stops in Roatan, Belize City, and Cozumel.

The cruise began with a fairly smooth and easy embarkation process. The RCL embarkation staff were both friendly and helpful during the embarkation process. Once on board, we found our room which was a promenade stateroom. The room had a nice view of the promenade deck below and it was conveniently located near an elevator. Our room steward Juliette greeted us warmly as she did each day. Juliette was like a ray of sunshine each and every day and she did a wonderful job of keeping our cabin nice and tidy.

One of favorite parts of cruising is the entertainment provided and I found the quality of the entertainment to be a mixed bag. We particularly liked the ice dancing show and the Motown tribute show. Both of these acts were better than many shows that I have seen in Las Vegas. The comedian and singer / impersonator were not up to the same standard as the other two entertainers by any means. I do have to compliment the Navigator of the Seas Orchestra as they were excellent musicians and always provided a quality musical contribution.
