We were a family of 5, my husband and I, and our 3 teenage children. Karl was our cabin steward and he kept our room in perfect order and we were very surprise how large our cabin was. The kids had there own cabin and it was also a good size and there cabin steward went out of his way to make sure our kids enjoy there cruise and kept there room clean and organized ( with 3 teenage kids and huge suitcases full of cloths). The food was absolutely amazing, after read some of the reviews I decided to purchase the specialty dinning package and the kids enjoyed getting dress up every night for supper and then to the evening shows.

We rented a car on most islands but we also enjoyed two excursions the first one on Sunday in Maui with Valley Isle Excursions we had captain Dave as our driver for the tour "Road to Hana" and he was the best, very informative, knowledgeable and funny. The second tour was booked through POA and it was the Captain Zodiac raft, snorkel and dolphin adventure in Kona. Our guide was Shawn and he made our trip very memorable we were able to see lots of dolphins and even a baby dolphins and lots of whales. Most of our family members enjoy used the gym facilities which had a variety of options you could participated in and our son was well cared for by Barracuda in the teen center. Our family have nothing but excellent memories of our cruise trip on the Pride of America. We will probably take this trip again because it is a good way to get an over view of the Hawaiian Islands and the Norwegians have a well maintained ship and very friendly and help staff.
