Traveled with children

We've recently returned from a week long cruise on the Legend of the Seas, leaving from Tampa and visiting Grand Cayman, Costa Maya, Belize and Cozumel. We are a family of four with two children (ages 6 & 8).

This was our first cruise and we had read many past reviews on Cruise Critic and were not sure how much to expect. Needless to say, we were very pleasantly surprised.

Ship - the ship is a little bit worn but still in very good shape. It has all the amenities you need with several options for eating, 2 pools, multiple hot tubs, gym, rock climbing wall, mini-golf, several bars/pubs, jogging track, and lots of deck chairs to choose from. Even on sea days, you didn't have a problem finding a deck chair somewhere.
