Sail Date: Sep 2014

We toured the islands in RI. Shore excursions were awesome. Loved having the young students as servers as they were fun, polite, helpful and gracious. Food and anything you wanted for food or drinks met any requests. Jaene, cruise director fun outgoing, helpful and talked w' all and made them feel that she was happy they were sailing! Davenna, activity director was helpful, cute, knew every ones names and needs. Harold, the entertainer was so informed and all liked his AM walks. I thought that there needed to be safes in the rooms & phones & ice buckets....was told after the fact I could request safe & ice buckets.

Dinning room centerpieces needed to be updated!!!! Glass mason jars filled w' sand and shells did not meet the expectations that I felt the cruise line wanted to present. They looked "cheap". We did our own table decorations nightly as we had a different theme each nite and ALL of the cruise staff, help staff and other people sailing came by to comment how much they liked it. I think the cruise people could have 1 or 2 nites that people could join in if they wanted like a western nite and have a BBQ where you walked thru ~ just thinking out of the box. Feel free to call if you'd like more information. All in all it was excellent and ready for our next cruise to the Hudson in 10/2015! We will bring our own table decorations again as we enjoy making it fun and festive!! PS~ loved the fresh baked cookies daily :)! Also enjoyed options for breakfast time along w' the early bird one at 6:30 AM.

Cabin Review

Cabin 112

Cabin was neat & clean, windwow did not work and carpet was worn w' a hole in it. Bathroom was well stocked but would have been nice to have a clothes line in shower so washed out items and that beds were on a wall facing the window. We brought our own hand held shower head as medically need it and would have been awesome for all rooms to be equipped w' these. It surprised me that the ship was only 6 years old and had that much wear and tear and it didn't look more modern w' colors, art etc. Room was quiet and didn't hear much hall way noise.
