Cabin: Central Park View Stateroom with Balcony

Our first time on the Allure, second time doing the Western Caribbean. The Allure of the Seas is a massive ship with so much to offer. Embarkment was good ,the port is about 10 minutes from the airport. We aboard the ship about 1:30 and went straight to our cabin. We had a Central Park Balcony which I found to be very nice and peaceful. For those that may have a privacy issue this cabin may not be for you, because you have staterooms directly in from of you...we was just mindful that we had cabins across from us, but never once found that that was a issue. Central Park is so nice. In the morning hours you can hear the birds singing and even a dog barking in the distance. As the evening to night falls you will hear crickets chirping at time live music is being played until about 10:30 at night...

The ship is very large, but once you learn the directions your walk may become easier. There are touch screen monitors on the wall on each deck to give you directions. The Cabin TV also was very interactive, you can order room service, see availability of the restaurant, check your onboard acct, etc. Dining was good. The windjammer was smaller than most ships and got crowded especially doing peak breakfast. I found at times the food to be average and cold. And they do not make omelets in the windjammer. Johnny Rockets at the Boardwalk has a nice breakfast selection for free and they do omelets, but there is a fee paid at Johnny Rockets for lunch and dinner. Park Café is free for breakfast and lunch and is a deli style eatery located in central park. The main dining tend to have slow service, but food was good. There is a Dog house on the boardwalk with a selection of hot dogs for free. I didn't do any specialty restaurants which was probably just a nice

The shows was awesome especially Blue Planet and the Aqua show..a must see. Ken Rush was the CD and was real good. Disembarkment was good off the ship within 1 hour . For the size of this ship it is very organized and after the first day you never really felt overwhelmed with people and crowds. Don't forget the DreamWorks parade and character appearances. The Allure of the Seas offered so much to do. The staff was always helpful and nice. Shopping was average, there is Coach store, but I found the princes was about the same or a little more than the land store. There are several lounges, including a jazz lounge with live music, On Air which had Karaoke every night and some of the sports games, Comedy live and Blaze the night club. The casino is a nice size has smoking and non smoking side. Wipe out café located on the sports decks serve hamburgers and French fries. There you also have two flow riders, the zip line and two rock climbing walls. We really enjoyed being on this ship and plan to return to see and do what we didn't get a chance to do this time

Cabin Review

Central Park View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin C2

Very clean room. The layout of the room was with the sofa near the balcony and the closet near the bed, which made at times awkward to access the closet...but you make It work. Central Park balcony does face other cabins, so be mindful you have cabins across from you...so stepping out on your balcony in the "buff" should not be an option. Room attendant was the best...Ms. Lovelace was very helpful and nice. If you like to see the ocean from your cabin...this room is not for you. I found it to be very peaceful and quiet.
