Disappointed; cruise masquerading as more than it is.

This was my first and probably last time on Royal Caribbean. I have previously sailed Oceania, Cunard and Princess (twice). I choose my cruises by destination. All have been 12 day cruises. Only the Cunard cruise was more expensive. The destination here was the Adriatic but starting and ending in Rome.

Let me start with positive comments. The staff are friendly. The food, with some exceptions, is good but sometimes not to my taste, The shore excursions were of a good standard, albeit expensive comparing like for like (I had been in three of the ports before). The ship was kept clean. Embarkation was efficient. Disembarkation was less efficient - my bag was in the wrong heap and took a lot of walking up and down to find. The photographers were not as annoying as on other cruises - they would take NO for an answer!

Now the list of negatives -

Large Ocean View Stateroom

Room was fine but the smallest I have ever travelled in.
