Where do I start, shortage of staff in dinning room, waiters and wine waiters. Cabin staff have more cabins to serve than last year. Some body has said that they went to the windjammer to eat all I can say is that they where very lucky the staff where having to coral the people to get in line and then only letting 20 people in at a time. If we wanted to eat in the windjammer you had to go in before 12.00 or after 2.30 not my times for food I like to go when i am hungry and ready. So we had to go to the dining room for our breakfast something we have never done, this was also a long drawn out experience, waiting for hot food that we did not get the right order for.
So for breakfast as a last resort we tried room service, the hot food was cold by the time we got it, so breakfast just consisted of ceral, fruit platter and raisin bread. I could have that at home. You go on a cruise to enjoy the meals. The menu in the main dinning room was like a café menue on a piece of cardboard with pictures on for the westerners, there was only two choices of starter and main course that were acceptable, one was salmon and not everyone likes salmon, the other was a meat dish and we had the same desserts all week. So this part of the cruise was a disaster for my Husband and myself.
The entertainment was good the ice show and the acrobates where really good. Shame one show was cancelled due to the rough sea.
It was fine no problems but needed some tlc.
