Booked an Aqua Class Veranda in the stern this time after having same toward bow the first voyage. We were under the weight room and the dropping of weights in early morning woke us up. So, we were in the stern where it was nice and quiet.
Our steward, Mariano, was probably one of the best ever! I like to put a bath towel over the desk chair since I use that for my vanity. Other stewards always remove and I have to replace. Mariano got it! Left it there so I could chose when to replace it. We teased him about his eagerness to open our cabin door when he saw us. Told him he must just watch for us! He was wonderful. His assistant was always attentive and smiling, too. Our cabin was clean and only notice of wear was the heavy tape holding the full length mirror next to the bathroom and the teak balcony furniture pretty well worn.
The Captain's Host, Rose, was excellent. Since it was my husband's birthday while cruising, I mentioned it in conversation and we were able to dine at the captain's table to celebrate. We met the Staff Captain, Dymetris.
Starboard side, 3 from the stern made for a quiet location.
