Thanks for taking time to read my review.

I am a 35 year old woman and I took my mother (age 66) on her first Alaskan cruise!

We flew into Seattle the day before the cruise and stayed at the Holiday Inn Express - Seattle City Center. We really enjoyed this hotel, it was very clean and our room was lovely. It is walking distance to Seattle Centre, so we took advantage of the gorgeous day and walked over. We wanted to see the Chihuly Gardens and the Space Needle, but they were both closing early for a special event, so we had to decide between one or the other - we went with the Gardens and I was thrilled! It's an absolutely beautiful museum, we actually went through it twice! We then went to the EMP Museum - I didn't know anything about it, but now I can't stop raving about it. It really is a neat museum.

Cabin Review

Extended Balcony

Cabin 8K

This was our first time sailing in a balcony cabin, and while it was spacious, the location of the beds made it seem a bit tiny! There was very little room between the two beds! I did enjoy having a sofa in the room and there was more than enough storage for all of things. The balcony had two chairs - one that could recline slightly and a small table. It was quite nice. The room itself was very clean and well-kept and super quiet. The only time I ever heard the neighbours was when we were on the balcony. Inside the room, all was quiet!
