My husband and me returned last week after a wonderful week aboard this wonderful cruise liner. Check in was a bit of a pain, but just what we expected, having said that staff were wonderful.
Went for a walk around Barcelona rather than embarking straight away. A very pleasant 30 minute walk from ship to La Ramblas. (Wish we had stayed a couple of nights in Barcelona, our fault)
Embarkation was very easy and were impressed with happy welcoming staff. Went straigt to our cabin and luggage had beed put on bed by our cabin steward. Quickly unpacked, I like to get this done straight away. Our cabin was wwonderful, we had a mini suite with balcony. Was a bit concerned about bathroom situation, after reading reviews. Yes it was a bit strange, however have stayed in similar on a land based holiday. Soon got used to set up and it was not a problem. There was lots of storage, in fact I was looking for things to put in cupboards. Cases very easily fit under the bed, so there was no clutter at all.
Can't understand negative comments regarding the cabin.Yes bathroom was a bit strange (sink in bedroom and curtain seperating bathroom from cabin. Bath and toilet did have a door for privacy) but soon got used to it, after all it is a double cabin, so you sdhould know your partner pretty well anyway.Loads of storage space, in fact ran out of stuff to put in cupboards. Cases fit under bed, so nothing on show unless you want to put on show.Balcony a good size with nice furniture.Loads of storage space
