7 day cruise on the Zuiderdam is for anyone and everyone who wants to see Alaska. As HAL is geared more of the older folks, I saw all different ages on this ship from young guest to older guest. This is a mid size ship so it only holds about 1916 passengers.

The SY rooms can hold up to 3 guest. Our room had 2 adults and 1 child age 11. There was enough storage space for all the bags and extras that come along with a child.

I can tell you the weather along the trip was amazing. But Alaska and Vancouver weather can be iffy with grey skies and occasional rain showers during the day.

Signature Superior Verandah Suite

Cabin SS

The room is spacious for 2 adults. It is about 372 square feet. The bathroom has a double sink which is nice. One thing I like about the Signature Suite (Superior Verandah Suite) is there is Jacuzzi tub with hand held shower, and also a separate shower stall. The products in the bathroom are from Elmis. They are wonderful and have a great smell of peppermint and spearmint.
