We have cruised 18 times, but only once before on HAL. We selected this 14 day cruise as it visited 9 islands. We were sailing with 2 other couples that we had met last year on a Panama Canal cruise & had a great time with them. We all flew in the day before & stayed at the Hampton Inn-Westshore. They provided an airport shuttle & continental breakfast the next day. Our embarkation was slightly crowded, & we had to wait for our number to be called to board, but the entire process was less than an hour. The ship was smaller than we have used on the other cruises, but that meant less walking from dinner to the show.

The crew & staff on this ship were great. Every one of them would smile & give us a greeting just passing in the hall. We took the ship's tour the first day with Darryl & Geno (CD assistants,) and had fun with their sports activities & trivia contests throughout the cruise. They were also the DJ's at night.

We thought the cabin was very nice. Plenty of room to hang all the clothes. The bed was very comfortable, & they had both soft & firm pillows. We tried room service one time before an early excursion, but the inside rooms only have a small table, which wasn't large enough for two. Read more
