I have been on three other cruises all of them on RC and not with a group...This cruise was the best by far and we will be traveling again. Our wait staff in the Sensation Dining room was outstanding --- Igor (Serbia), Jennifer (Philippines) and Paul (Romania) were the BEST of the best and we taught Igor to say "yaaaaaaaallllll" - it was so much fun and we had a blast at every dinner experience with this group. If you're assigned this dining room ask for them and tell them hello from Angie...
As for the Half Moon Cay - FABULOUS, GORGEOUS, BEAUTIFUL, RELAXING and all other adjectives you can think of to describe this private island of God's creation.
I would suggest that they (Carnival) would put maps and layouts of the ship in the room on the first day and maybe put directions on how to get to the main areas such as the Atrium and the Lido deck from your room/hall....that would have helped us and many others tremendously. They only negative on the shows I saw was the magician. He was so boring and he has a very thick Indian accent which makes it very hard to understand and get into the act.
We stayed in room U152 which located very close to the launderette and made ironing our pants and shirts very convenient. I would advise everyone to please study the layout of the ship and know how to navigate your way around. Our room seemed to be very difficult to get to but maybe it was just us. We must have had very "mature neighbors because there was no unbearable noise during the night or early morning hours. The service was great (not that we requested a lot) but the room was cleaned during our departures and you gotta love the towel art!!!
