This was my first celebrity cruise and it was steps above both Princess and Carnival. Check-in was quick and easy, our room was ready upon arrival. We met our stateroom attendent immediately and she was very welcoming. We were on Deck 11, which was very convient to walk up to the pool and oceanview cafe. The muster drill was quick and painless and we didn't have to wear our life jackets. A great spot to be in for sail away is the sunset bar at the back of the ship.

We were defintely one of the youngest couples on the cruise (38/40). We weren't looking to party like on previous cruises (when we traveled with friends) so this was fine. We cruised in September in the Mediterranean and there were only a handful of kids, which was great as we were vacationing without ours.

We chose open seating for dinner and it worked out really well for us. We sometimes ate at 6pm and other nights 7:30 or 8. We never had to wait for a table, and you can call ahead if you are worried. We could eat alone or with someone and chose to do so based on our mood that night. I actually think eating on floor 4 (open seating floor) is better than floor 3 (main dining). It was quieter and the tables didn't see so close together. All of our waiters were great, but Ali was the best, we went to him the last 3 nights in a row. We purcahsed the classic drink package (including alcohol) and I think it was worth it. No slips to sign and it included bottled water, which we drank a lot of. We never felt deprived of something, as there were several beers and frozen cocktails included, and captain morgan.

Cabin 11

Great cabin. Close to elevator and stairs, but was fairly quiet as they have glass doors that close to the elevator cooridor. Great mid-ship location.
