Cabin: Large Interior Stateroom

This cruise was the second cruise we've ever taken and we chose this particular cruise because we wanted to try out an Oasis class ship. The Allure is currently the largest cruise ship in the world, narrowly beating out its sister ship, the Oasis of the Seas. We were a party of 4 and occupied 2 interior staterooms on deck 8, on the same level as Central Park. Overall, we were not disappointed.

Embarkation:

We arrived in Fort Lauderdale the day before embarkation and stayed the night at a nearby hotel. We made it to Port Everglades early via taxi and was glad we did as the lines were starting to become long. After a simple check-in process, we waited on the second floor of the port to board the ship. I liked that the port had free WiFi.

Cabin Review

Large Interior Stateroom

Cabin N

We chose our cabins to be on deck 8 because that is where Central Park is located. This made it simple for us to walk outside and visit Park Cafe. Our cabins were at the front of the ship and is mostly quiet. The only noise we've encountered is some occasional odd mechanical / running water noise. We barely felt the rocking of the ship and I had a great night's sleep every night.
