first time with NCL, (only Holland to compare it to), and found the destination of the southern caribbean quite intriguing. The ship was fine, the crew was fine, the food ok, specialty restaurants really good, entertainment excellent, but the shore excursions... very disappointing.

we found the little things weren't looked after... headsets that didn't work, so on bus tours you couldn't understand the narrative, changes to the itinerary that weren't told, so you didn't get what you expected, and truly, the islands were not spectacular to visit for a few hours- mostly quite arid, and not much to enjoy (who knew Aruba would be so barren!).

the long days at sea were often quite "bumpy", so besides not feeling well, the pool would be closed, and the decks quite wet. Seems that is quite common in that part of the ocean.
