Prior to our trip I scoured this site soaking up all the information I could. I’ve never done a review before so please bear with me if I tend to be a little long winded lol

Friday 9/5/14

Flight to FLL was good and uneventful. The representative from Larry’s Limos was on time and very friendly. Got on the road to Miami very quickly and it was immediately apparent that our driver thought he was in some sort of race lol. I have to admit that there were many times where I was very uneasy with his driving but we made it to the hotel in record time lol. Check in at the Intercontinental was quick and easy and we were soon in our room and ready to start our vacation. After dropping of our luggage we walked a little ways to the Walgreens nearby to pick up our 2-12 packs of Diet Coke to take onboard. We decided to not get any water and really we didn’t need it. After dropping the Diet Coke off in our room we headed out to check out Bayside since we had never been there before. To be honest we were really tired and almost didn’t but we are so glad we did! We walked around and ended up having dinner at Hooters lol. After dinner we walked around a bit and had our first drinks of vacation YUM! We soon headed back to the hotel and decided to turn in. We were so excited because tomorrow we get to board the Getaway!!

Great location with the bed by the balcony door. The extra room on the angled balcony was great!
