First off..I'm a 31 year old male, first time Princess Cruiser, but have cruised with Carnival 3 times and RCCL Once. I found an excellent deal (less than Carnival at the time) and had the expectations of a beautiful ship with many activities, lots of options (loved the idea of Anytime Dining), but not stuffy..and these expectations were definitely met.
Embarkation was very well done. Had to wait a bit since we got to the port at 10 a.m. ish..but it's better than sitting in the hotel room. Once numbers were called, we were exploring within 10 minutes!
I really love the layout of this ship. The outside areas are just the right size and offer many options: You can watch movies, listen to the band, play pool games, or have some peace and quiet. I enjoyed the option of having a change of atmosphere from time to time..just a few steps and it was like you were on another ship! I particularly enjoyed sitting on the back as we left port lounging in a chair and watching the wake and the sunset
