Sail Date: Aug 2014
Cabin: Stateroom with French Balcony

We cruised up the Danube from Budapest, through Vienna, Durnstein, Melk, Linz to Passau. Everything was included in our price: food, wine beer liquor, tours, entertainment, tips which made it very easy. The service on board was excellent, there was commentary as we sailed, and information about up-coming tours. The on-land tour guides used a 'head-set' system so you could hear every word. The tour guides were from the local areas and very personalized.

This was our first river cruise and we enjoyed the 'smallness' of 150 passengers; we ate at different tables throughout the day and met many interesting people. The meals were small portions but many courses and wine of the region was always suggested. The presentation was always lovely, and the choices were extensive at all meals.

Our room was comfortable, had a sliding door to view outside, TV with movies although we didn't spend much time in the room. There was a nice library for reading with a computer and WiFi if needed.
