Enjoyed the upper veranda cabin, although quite narrow. I fell over the step to the balcony when I first arrived, so be careful and look down. The beds are smaller than twin size, so not comfortable for tall or larger people. The staff on the ship was excellent. Always a Hello, and have a good day! Certainly, as good, if not better than other cruise lines..

A veranda cabin is necessary on this particular cruise, as Alaskan scenery is the main focus. Room service was free, just gave a tip. Very nice dinners with exceptional staff. The food was okay. some meals better than others. By the end of the week, the meals repeated and had a similar taste. The Presentation was excellent . Our particular wine steward/waitstaff on table 7 was over the top. Anticipated our needs, attentive, and fulfilled all whims and wants. Gave them a double tip at the end of cruise.

I do feel sorry for the crew, as many haven't been home for 7 months or more.

Deluxe Ocean-View Verandah Stateroom

Cabin VA

Mid-ship,Next to elevators. very quietNarrow room with balcony. Okay for 2 people, no more. Enough storage for a weeks cruise.Beds are smaller than twin size. That's a negative. Mattresses are comfortable. Had to ask for extension cord as there wasn't an outlet near the beds. Very quick room service.
