We just returned from our 2nd year in a row on the Celebrity Summit. Though we did not make it to Bermuda it was an enjoyable cruise overall.

Last August we stayed in a Celebrity Suite, and liked it so much decided to take it a step further this year and went all out for a Royal Suite. It was definitely worth it! The RS has a separate entrance to the bathroom which is nice. Picture a small one bedroom apartment without a kitchen, and you basically have the layout of the RS. The deck is larger than the CS, and comes with a table/4 chairs, 2 very comfortable loungers, as well as a whirlpool tub. Please note this is basically a whirlpool bathtub and not a “full size” hot tub so to speak.

We were greeted at port by concierge Jole, and she assisted us from the check-in point directly to Michael’s Club on deck 4. As a perk for staying in an RS/PS, we had access to Michael’s Club as a private club with Jole at your beckon call for booking excursions, general queries, etc…My wife enjoys logistics, so had far more interaction with Jole than I did. All drinks, alcohol, soda, etc, are complementary in Michael’s Club but must be consumed within that venue. We all had drink packages anyway, so this was kind of moot for us as a perk.
