Flew into New Orleans the day before stayed at the Sleep Inn in Kenner near the airport they provided a shuttle to the motel, it was very nice and great breakfast. Took taxi to port expect to pay at least $33 plus your tip, embarkation was quick and pain less. We were doing a back to back so settled in for 14 days. Ships staff were very friendly, this was a new ship to us and it was clean and well kept fairly easy to get around once you remembered you can't get there from here on floor 3 &4. We are a sr. couple who have been to all the port before so did not do any ships excursions but did a couple of trips that we arranged on the dock.

On the first part of the b2b there were 1300+ kids on board and on the second leg there were 1100+ kids on board out of 4100 total passengers but for the most part they were not a problem, some late nite running and yelling in the halls had the snoozing/cruzing door sign taken a couple of nights and apparently one night someone replaced it with a room service breakfast order for early morning delivery. Meals were generally OK Omelets very good in the AM, soup served nice and hot but main course always only slightly warm, great dining room staff. Music way too loud to the point that some was distorted from the speakers..Entertainment generally was good if you could stand the loudness, had about 4-5 comedy shows nearly every night and part were family friendly and part adult all were very good. Disembarkation was good other than one crew member would not direct folks to the proper line and that created a major bottleneck until he was replaced, still made it to the airport by 9:00AM. Enjoyed the cruise down the river and the sights along that way, overall a very nice cruise.
