Make no mistake; Oceania is a five star operation. This was my second cruise with Oceania. I was so impressed with my first cruise last year that I booked a second cruise, “Baltic Marvels” this year.

About Oceania

Oceania is a first class operation. They have 4 specialty restaurants in addition to the buffet and their main dining room. Meals are included with the cruise cost so no need to worry about extra food charges appearing on your statement at the end of the cruise. Alcohol is a different matter. If you order room service there may be a charge depending on your stateroom level.

Cabin Review

This was a spacious room with a private veranda. The butler service was impeccable. The bed was very comfortable. Extra blankets were provided without problems. This room was towards the back of the boat. Therefore being further away from the ships center of gravity it was more susceptible to pitching. If you are prone to seasickness you might want a location closer to the center of the ship. Fortunately I enjoy the motion so for me it was a bonus. The other issue was that the room was directly underneath the service are of the Terrace Cafe (buffet). Early in the morning we could hear carts being rolled and noise coming from above. This usually woke me up.
