My wife and I decided to take our two son's on their first cruise and we chose this ship because we wanted to cruise to the Bahamas again and I wanted to scuba dive with one of my sons.

Let me start with the ship. Yes the Sky is an older ship but my opinion is that this ship is very nice and very clean. Our stateroom was very typical in size with one exception. The shower stall area was the smallest of any ship we have ever been on. Barely room to move and I'm not a big guy. But other than that the room was perfect for what we needed and that was a place to sleep. During the cruise our rooms were very quiet. It only got loud when we went into a port and that was because our rooms were very close to the exit doors they had to open for the passengers. No way to sleep through that but we were up most of the time anyhow.

The food was good on board. I really liked the open dining on this ship and think other lines should follow suit. Being able to go eat in the dining rooms whenever you wanted was very convenient. By going early we avoided the lines we saw later in the evening around 8 to 9pm. The other areas to dine in were also very good with a large selection to choose from. The sports bar was very crowded and they served really good wings in there. Give that place a try.

Cabin Review

We liked this room. It was quiet (until you got to port), it was clean and the cabin steward did a great job keeping it clean. The only complaint would be on the size of the shower. Much to small and the smallest I've ever experienced on any cruise.
