Before going on this cruise, I found it hard to find things on the MSC Divinia, especially the teen's club. I am 16 and I thought that I should give a unique perspective for people to hear about for this cruise. I'll start with the cabins. My brother and I shared a balcony room. The room seemed bigger than most of the other cruises I've been on. The decorations were very nice. The food was delicious. If you don't like Italian food, then I would tell you not to go on this cruise line, but there are still enough choices for picky eaters. The wait staff were nice and they all seemed to get along. The senior staff were very involved in making sure that everything was alright. The tables were a little crowded in the dining room though. That was for dinners in the Black Crab restaurant. For breakfast and lunch you could choose between the buffet and dining room. I'll start with the dining room. Sit down breakfasts and lunches were done in the Villa Rosa restaurant. The service was quite slow and it often took 2 hours to get through a meal. The tables were crammed together and it was very loud. They often put you at a table with other people, even if you requested to only be with your party. In the buffet, the food was equally delicious, but you had to fight to get it. There were often times were a type of food would be out and they still hadn't refilled in 10, 15 minutes later. They also had a problem with refilling the cutlery and plates. There seemed to be a lack of senior staff there to help guide the other staff. I absolutely loved the pizza on the buffet, although it was not 24 hours. The pizza was cooked in a woodstove and was the best pizza I had ever had. They always had cheese and pepperoni pizza, but they also would have different ones as well. They had 2 ice cream machines that ran from noon until 5 pm, but they always had a huge line and were often melting as it came out. If you're hungry between lunch and dinner, you can go to the buffet and get pizza, a selection of sandwiches, and cookies. They have an assortment of drinks from breakfast until the dinner buffet closes and in order to see the huge selection, you would need to look at all of the drink stations. At night, only iced tea, water, coffee, and tea are available at only 1 drink station. It is poorly refilled and often has a long line, so I would suggest getting drinks before. At 11 pm, a sandwich area starts up and you can get a selection of sandwiches if you're still hungry.

The shows were great, with lovely costumes and stages, great singers, and amazing acrobatics and dancing. If they were playing a famous person, such as Michael Jackson, they would use real music and have the guy playing the person lip sink. What was as equally fun as the show was the pre-show, put on by the entertainment crew. Each day was different, with them dressed up differently, so you'd want to get there early.

The teen club, or Graffiti's, was great. They put the 2 oldest groups together, so it was 12-17, but there were only about 20 teens coming in and out. They only had one councilor. It was a come and go thing where they didn't keep track of you. There were several different cultures there and it was great! We didn't do much, but it was still a lot of fun. There wasn't as much kissing and making out as I have found in teen clubs on other ships. Overall, the MSC Divinia was the best cruise I've been on so far and I plan on going on it again.

Cabin Review

The room was gorgeous, but the beds were hard and the pillows were lumpy. The balcony had a great view.
