This was my 2nd and last cruise on the Sunshine. I sailed her in January, and it was just okay. This time was absolutely horrible. I attempted to eat in the Main Dining Room 3 times, and only succeeded with a full mean once. Raw shrimp on formal night after a 1 -1/2 hour wait to be seated did not impress me. I also didn't get dessert at all. Dinner should not take 3 hours. The Lido had Lasanga' one night, and the ground beef was totally raw. I returned silver ware 4 times, and the employee told me I had a "good eye". Most of the employees acted as if they didn't want what they call "guests" on the ship. My family was spoken to rudely on several occasions, without us even initiating contact with them.

I loved my room steward, Damian. He was excellent, and I was in room 8303. I can drink and party with the best of 'em, but the loud people in the hallways all night got old. Children were allowed to run up and down freely on the guest hallways all night long. They were so loud that at one point my 12 year old opened the door and confronted them. Lack of Service, Poor Food Quality, Rudeness from the Staff (except for the Casino Bar staff, my steward and the Havanah bar staff will keep me off of the Sunshine forever.

I have sailed Carnival 8 times and have never been so disgusted and ready to get off of a boat. I may or may not sail Carnival again, but I will never step foot again on this boat.
