Some thoughts on a recent Med cruise from Venice. Third cruise with Celebrity and first time in Europe. I've cruised with NCL, Royal and Carnival in the past.

Cruise Port & Embarkation - Not the easiest port to access and things were a little chaotic. Arrived at roughly 1:30 and were aboard within an hour. Bags arrived quickly. Second experience on a Solstice class. Beautiful ship with a great collection of art. Flows well. Cabins are nicely sized. Silhouette is having some technical issues with one engine and itineraries have been modified. We were a little disappointed that port times had changed as it was a strange itinerary. But it worked out fine. The departure and sail down the Grand Canal was worth the cruise alone.

Cabin - 9130. Nice balcony starboard forward. Nice sized cabin with an ample sized washroom and shower. Bed was comfortable but the pillows weren't great. Celebrity have a nice sized balcony on the Solstice class. Just the right size. I find RCL and NCL cabins a little too tight. Stateroom attendant was pleasant.

Cabin Review

Nice sized cabin. Bathroom is perfect size with good sized shower. Balcony big enough to stretch out and relax. Adequate storage.
