Just wanted to get out of town for a bit. I have taken over 25 crusises. Generally I cruise Celebrity but becaise of the time of year and available ships, I went on the Caribbean Princess. I had low expectations because of the age of the ship and it was only 5 days going out in hurricane season.

Well - the ship was very well maintained. If I was to be critical, you can see the wear in the cabins, particularly the hardware(towel bar etc) the cabins were a bit dated but fine. The ship was great. The weather was awesome. The food very acceptable. The desserts were graeat. The entertainment fine. Actually the pool band, and the piano player were great. The main shows were typically ok. The comedian (older guy was funny but catered to my age group. (60) and quite frankly this was the youngust group of cruisers I had ever seen. lots of 20 30 and 40 year olds . It was great. Can't say enough The buffets were good, the dinners were good. And service was very good.

Again if I was to be criticical since this is Cruise Critic, the room steward had no personality, barely greeted you but did a good job. In the Crown Grill, the food was good, but nothing special. The service happened to be terrible but the Maitre D compt it because of all the problems. Guess everyone has bad nights.
