We just debarked yday morning. It was me, DH, DS-17 and DS-15, this was our 5th overall cruise, 4th with Carnival. We hit gold status on this cruise, we were happy for that.

Embarkation: Port Canaveral has it down pat. We were Faster to the Fun and got to the port at 10:45 am. We never had to wait in any line and we never sat done. When we got to the port, they were already on zone 15 for boarding. We essentially walked right on to the ship.

Food: The Liberty has the new American Table/American Feast menu. It didn't seem to offer as much as the prior menu. I am not much of a cruise food person, so the food tasted all the same to me as other Carnival cruises we have taken. I just don't feel there was a large selection as prior cruises. They were, however, very accommodating for me in the MDR. We ate one, of two, elegant nights in the MDR. There were no side offerings (as two other nights in the MDR I just ate sides) and there was nothing on the menu I could eat. I am just very particular about my food and I don't each much meat. DH says I am almost vegetarian. Anyway, I explained to the waiter I could not eat anything on the menu and asked if they could make me a baked potato and mac n cheese??? He checked and they could. Hostess came by and she asked me if I needed anything special for the next night, which was the last night of the cruise. They had Ricotta Ravioli and I didn't need anything special for the next night. I was not a fan of Guys Burgers. DH and both DSs loved it.

Cabin Review

Usual CCL cabin. No complaints about same.
