This was our 3rd cruise with Oceania and our 2nd on the beautiful Rivera ship. We chose this cruise because of the interesting itinerary and that it was the Rivera. It was great to have 2 days in Istanbul and then 2 days in Venice.

Some highlights: the cruise into Kotor (amazing and worth getting up at 6 AM) and then the cruise into Venice on the Grand Canal. The Rivera is a beautiful ship and all the restaurants are first-rate in cuisine and decor; our personal favourite is Red Ginger (we love having the 4 speciality restaurants as their smaller ships only have 2); great to get our coffee fix at Baristas and our Concierge Lounge was also first rate service with Katja. Service from all crew was wonderful and having a self-serve laundry facility on each deck is brilliant. We opt out of the include airfare and prefer to arrange our own. Love the room service especially each morning and found all of our cruise excursions very interesting; we like ensure that some ports are just for walking around/touring at our own pace e.g. Zakynthos and Corfu as having an excursion each day can be tiring. Due to low tide/narrow channel our stop in Albania was cancelled and we stayed 2 days in Kotor (told we didn't miss much in Albania and Kotor is so lovely). Did notice more children/teens on this ship which was not the norm but no complaints. We look forward to booking another cruise with Oceania.
