Sail Date: Aug 2014

We are a couple and a 21 year old son who just returned from an incredible vacation that has been on our "bucket list" for years. Alaska is breathtakingly beautiful. Everything went smoothly from start to finish and we credit RCL for a very well organized and fun packed experience. The staff was very attentive to our needs, everything was well-kept and clean and the activities on the ship and at the ports exceeded our expectations.

Embarked around noon in Vancouver and found the process well organized. Disembarked at 7 a.m. and walked right off the ship with no line at 7 a.m. to meet our 8 a.m. bus to the Anchorage airport.

Ketchikan: We took a short cab ride up to Deer Mountain and hiked a rather steep climb to a beautiful vista view. This is not for the faint-hearted but our 21 year old spurred us on and we made to 2 of the 3 miles up. It was easier heading down!

Cabin Review

We found it spacious enough for two adults and our 21 year old son, but we also get along well! We unpacked, stored suitcases under the bed and requested extra hangers. It worked quite well!
