We just returned from a 7 night cruise to the Eastern Caribbean on the MSC Divina. I must say that before we cruised, since we had never heard of this cruise line, we did read many reviews. Some of these reviews are good, some not so good, but this is everyone's opinion. We left wondering just how this cruise was going to be.

Well..... I have to say first of all, this is the most beautiful ship we have ever been on ( and we have been on a few!) Our stateroom was very big, nicely decorated, and immaculately clean. As we toured this ship we were constantly wowed by what we found. This ship has many hot tubs, 2 large pools, and again, sparkling water all the time, an F1 simulator, bowling alley, video games, gym, and so many other options for fun.

Dinner the first evening was delicious, our only complaint was that service was very slow, however we were seated at a table for 6, and the other 2 couples chose the buffet that night as opposed to a formal dinner. Our waiter did wait a bit too long to take our order, in anticipation the others may show up. We did inform him of our dissatisfaction with this, and that took care of it, service was great the rest of the week. We had read several complaints about the food, unless they were looking for "fast food" quality food, I cannot imagine what they were complaining about. Food was delicious, beautiful presentations, the serving sizes were smaller than other cruise lines, but I never left hungry, and most often ate too much! There were a few things I did notice, if you want to compare cruise lines. MSC does not "Push" alcohol, there are several bars, however the waiters/waitresses are not after you constantly for a drink. They are also not in your face constantly taking pictures! There were many opportunities to take photo's around the ship.
