Just got back an hour ago from airport--will NEVER sail carnival again.Saw my cabin steward 1 time and only because I reported him for never being seen.Who ever thought to put air conditioning vents on ceiling?-I was told by the front desk to crawl up there and adjust it myself, since I was too cold. Never get a connecting room the doors are paper thin--the last night my lovely neighbors came in at 2:30am shrieking drunk--she was yelling at her s.o. about taking her car keys and her gas money-ah,does it really matter b****,you"re on a ship!!!
Only had one musical production show all week--what ever happened to the magicians and the family oriented comedians(not the adults only shows they had 2x a night) Thank god they had miami tv sations on the room tvs(something I've never experienced on other cruise lines)-of course I didn't pay money to watch tv all evening. Jonathan in the piano bar was very good the first night I saw him--unfortunately he did the same exact show the next night he was on--even the same exact stories and chit chat between songs--of the few he knew--every time someone requested a song "I don't know that one"--again back to watch tv!!!
The food was good-actually I thought better than RCI--of which I am a Diamond Plus member--but the servers had no personality--like I read on several other reviews--"they were going through the motions" And what ever happened to parents controlling their kids- I heard little kids running up and down the hall at 2:00 am. Oh,getting back to the suckee entertainment--having a passenger talent show as a featured show at 9:00pm--can you say "Scraping the bottom of the barrell"
also why were the public restroom doors always open on th *th floor--you could see right in there, seeing people doing their thing
