I had been hesitant to cruise in the past with Carnival BUT did understand that changes had been made to the overall Carnival branding...so we gave it a try and booked 2 staterooms for our family of 5.

Overall, the cruise was fun and a memorable one. The demographics were wide-spread and included passengers within all age groups...not heavily weighted at all to one side or another. Great variety of people from all over! I found our cruise to be a little more on the casual side and while there were 2 formal nights, the attire in the dining room was pretty casual compared on other lines I have experienced. I loved the Open Dining option which allowed us to dine anytime between 5:30 pm and 9:30 pm.

While the Conquest may not have all the fancy additions such as the rock climbing wall and extra-large waterpark, etc., it was a bonus to cruise aboard a smaller vessel...It was always easy to find a place to sit around the pool, the customer service was excellent (great dining room team that served us each night...amazing! Cruise Director, Mike and Assistant Director, Roly made the week's activities fun and kept everyone busy. Our twins loved Camp Carnival and thanks Mr. Cheese and Ms. Lollipop for entertaining them. The onboard shopping experience was excellent as well!! Lots of excellent sales and promotions.

Cabin Review

The staterooms were excellent. My husband and I had a Premium Vista Balcony Stateroom (aft) which was extremely roomy and featured an amazing wrap-around balcony - Enjoyed breakfast out there one morning and it was a great place to hang out when arriving or leaving a port! The 3 kids were in an inside stateroom which again was extremely roomy...Stateroom service was excellent and top-notch!! Loved finding the towel art left on the beds each evening.
