Second time on Majesty, was so looking forward to it. Hit problems straight away, what is point of early check in if there is no seperate bag drop and it is still necessary to stand in great long queue as at Edinburgh and Corfu airport. As have said before, take some lessons from Jet 2.

Arrived on ship with little delay, everything very efficient at Corfu airport and on arrival at port. Delighted with cabin 726 on promenade deck, at least for few hours. Cabin was freezing, thermostat not working, technician, who could not speak English arrived took grill from ceiling and made adjustment. The nightmare began, for the next week we had smell of fumes coming in, ranging from really strong to mild. Despite tech returning it was never fixed. We were told to keep toilet door open which involved placing chair in front, so blocking exit of cabin. They said could not change cabin as ship full but would not assure us that there was no danger from fumes!!! Still awaiting contact from Thomson.

Otherwise lovely cruise. Would say entertainment and food not as spot on as last year, but very acceptable just the same. Really enjoyed our tour of Athens, we ran the gauntlet of taxi drivers but came across a very pleasant young man called Dinos, who gave us a wonderful tour in great detail. well worth the money.
