Traveled with children

Let me start with, this was a gift to our children and our grandson as a Christmas gift. My children are in their 30's and my grandson was 13 months old. We took private transportation to the pier simple and easy. Easy checking in and we waited briefly, yes there was an itinerary change however while disappointed I understood and continued with vacation mode. We were on board by noon and went for lunch. It was a bit different traveling with a 13 month old but he was the star of the ship on so many occasions. He danced with the dancers and played the drums with the orchestra he had a wonderful time!. We had lunch at the buffet, there are many choices and I found the food to be good and no problems and if there was something I didn't like there were many choices to pick from. One of the favorite things for me is being able to try different foods I don't get to try at home. We went to our cabin, I loved this cabin 7443, would book this again, checked out the balcony and then went to explore the ship. I was on this ship during New Years and enjoyed the cruise, ship and came back to share with my family. Next was the Drill, the only thing I didn't like is we were all at different Muster Stations and would change that again on a future family cruise. My Grandson was not able to swim in pools as I read children in diapers were not allowed. People need to do some research on this and not complain, I brought a blow up bathtub for him and he had a wonderful time playing in there with water. I would suggest this for people with small ones wearing diapers. The ship was clean, our waiter Paul was great table 310, service was good, food was hot and I would also suggest early or anytime dining with a child. We went to Port Canaveral, I stated on the ship, this was the change and unable to do our tour at Turks and Cacos, will get there one day. Many people stayed on the ship, I wish they went somewhere else. Next was Nassau, we went to the British Hilton day pass and we loved it, close by walking distance and there was a pool, the beach and great food and service. You should check this out and don't believe all the nonsense people post on here about negative comments. We went to the private island my favorite, wonderful time, great service and wish we had 2 days there instead of Florida. I love the sea days and the Brunch is so good and don't forget there Bloody Mary Bar!!! Now the highlight was the Dr. Seuss, we were in the parade and had a wonderful time!!! they had it organized wonderful and it was a happy time for so many "Dr. Seuss in on the Loose" we went to the story time where it was a great time for all ages and not to be missed. The last sea day was the Dr. Seuss Breakfast, yes it is $5.00 pp but it was so well worth it, a fun fun morning. I would book this again, and hopefully Carnival will have some different itineraries in the future. Wish she was sailing all year again and gave New York a chance for all year but that's another story.

This was a wonderful family cruise, filled with fun and great memories!!!

I do love Carnival and thank you
