Wonderfull first time cruise

Sail Date: August 2014
Destination: Canary Islands
Embarkation: Southampton

This was our first cruise & after reading some reviews we were a little worried what we might be letting ourselves into, we needed have bothered it was terrific.

Everything about the cruise we enjoyed

Embarkation/disembarkation this was so simple & took 20 minutes before we were in our cabin

Eating was 1st class, wonderful food, great choices & something for everyone, we never had a bad meal

Cabins, we had a balcony & this was really nice clean & plenty of space TV had a sky news channel, film channel & other choices.

Crew & staff, they were really nice people always pleasant chatty & happy to help.

Cleanliness, the ship was spotless, staff were forever cleaning morning, afternoon & night.

We chose club dining & were on a table of 8 & we met some lovely people both dining & on the ship.

Entertainment, once again there was something for everyone & some excellent More singers/musicians.

Ports of call, we got off the ship at every port & done our own thing, we enjoyed every port of call & the weather was superb.

There was people of all ages on this cruise & as I said there was something for everyone.

We are booking again for next year & can't wait.

Finally I would just like to say, the people who write all these negative reviews must be living on another planet or more to the point snobs. So if you are not sure about cruising for the first time take my advice forget the negativity & go for it, cruising is for everyone not just for the snobs. Less
