Outstanding Experience!

Sail Date: July 2014
Destination: Alaska
Embarkation: Vancouver

This was the first time to cruise and we were so very pleased with Princess. We had a balcony room and was very happy with the size of the room and balcony. The meals in both the Horizon and the Anytime dining were great. Both offered a nice variety of dishes and the desserts were out of this world.

We were very happy with the entertainment the ship had to offer. We were able to see something every night while on the cruise.

We were very happy with our shore excursions we had booked with Princess. They were everything we expected and more. The process of getting on and off the ship for excursions was very efficient and quick.

We were very pleased with all of the people working on the cruise. We found them to be very pleasant and very helpful. They all seemed to enjoy their job!

I would highly recommend Princess to anyone wanting to cruise and hopefully we will be cruising with them again in the future. Less

Cabin review: Coral Princess E301

Very pleased with the size of our cabin. We found it to be adequate in size and well furnished. The bed was very comfortable, and outside noise was very minimal. We never felt any movement of the ship and would not have known we were on a cruise until we looked out the window.

Port and Shore Excursions

Gardens/Hatchery

Salmon hatchery was very interesting and educational. We then took motorcoach to Mendenhall glacier which was breath-taking. While there we had many photo opportunities. We then took motorcoach to a salmon bake. The salmon was delicious and the setting was great. Overall....excellent experience!

Jeep Tour

Jeep trip was a great way to see the back country and experience rough terrain. We took the Jeep into the wilderness then got into a big canoe and paddled across a lake. Had a nice snack of smoked salmon, clam chowder, and hot chocolate. Took a nature hike with very educated guides, then paddled back, and Jeep ride back. Overall....excellent experience!

4x4 Tour

Took 4 x 4 up a very windy trail to a small lodge where we had fresh baked cookies and coffee. We continued up the trail, stopping for photo opportunities along the way. Stopped at the lodge on way back down for a fried Halibut dinner, which was fabulous. Continued down the trail back to the beginning. Overall.....excellent experience!
