We have just returned home from our 10th cruise with Royal Caribbean and sadly have to say standards are seriously slipping. Silly little things like, no slices of lemon out to have with your cup of tea, no promotional carrier bags left in your stateroom, no pen in the room either and no nibbles given out at Crown and Anchor evening.

On a slightly more serious note the ship has supposedly just been refurbished ... can somebody tell me what has been refurbished please! The big screen outside is obviously a recent addition as no one in their right mind would have originally positioned it so it was only visible from one side of the pool deck due to the Jacuzzi canopies?? Carpets running through corridors are miss matched with odd pieces here and there. You could see plastic plates and glasses left in corridors for hours on end and the carpets and ledges in Windjammers were permanently covered in crumbs.

Our stateroom was disgraceful and clearly kept by an attendant who had no pride in his job - such a shame as we have never experienced this before. I am sad to say for the first time in 12 cruises no gratuities were left for him.
