Our trip started by staying at the Silken Diagonal for two days in Barcelona, Spain prior to our departure. The hotel is very modern but small it's only made for two people so we had to have two rooms for a party of four. It was very central because you had the subway near and the Red Big Bus stops across the street too. The morning breakfast is included and it was buffet style. This reservation was done by Royal Caribbean and I give it a 4 star.

The ship was big enough for us for such a long trip Ia bigger ship believe would be to much. Our room was on the 8th floor with a balcony it was in wonderful location and the service was great too. The food was good at times we would eat at Reflection the main dinning room and other times we ate at the Windjammer which is buffet style. At Reflection they asked to dress semi formal and in the beginning of the trip everyone was dressing semi formal but by the end of the people would go in shorts. In addition, they requested for three formal nights which I believe it's too much when you are out all day doing excursions. Captain dinner is a night that you are out doing excursions and the other two are when you are in sea. The kids had the Coca-Cola package and they loved it. We had the refreshment package that does not have alcohol it was fine because we had bottle water, tea, speciality coffee that was all worth it.

I did not like that you can't do your own laundry in such a long trip but they do offer specials for washing and laundry. During the trip but don't wait for the last day of the trip because the will not have the offer anymore.

Cabin Review

The room was a great location, it was clean and the service was good.
