Cold Scotland

Sail Date: August 2014
Destination: Europe - British Isles & Western
Embarkation: Harwich

I was a bit apprehensive after reading many negative reviews.Overall we had a very good experience. The ship is older but is in good shape. Food was good except on the formal night the lobster was a little letdown.

Our cabin was kept clean but our attendant never introduced himself and we didn't even know who he was. The cabin was a little bit smaller than the Solstice class ship but had lots of storage space. Too bad the bed was not high enough to store the suitcase under it..

All the staffs were very helpful except a few indifferent in the guest relation and aqua spa cafe .

We only had one excursion with Celebrity to Normandy and it was expensive. The others were with hoho bus or with outside company. Titanic in Belfast is a must see. Orkney is beautiful.

It was cold and windy in Scotland and we had one day with rough sea. I wished I had brought more warm clothes.

All in all we enjoyed the trip very much. Less
