This was our second river cruise with Viking. Our first was a 2012 Christmas Market cruise from Basil, Switzerland to Amsterdam, The Netherlands. This cruise took us from Paris, France to the Normandy Beaches and back to Paris. As with the first cruise, we enjoyed meeting new friends and crew members on this trip. As usual, the food and service was exceptional!

The excursions to Monet's home at Giverny and Versailles were terrific and guided by exceptional guides. Special thanks to Viking for arranging for our American group to have a special ceremony at the Normandy Cemetery, hosted by a local memorial park employee, which culminated with roses for each of us to place on individual graves in the cemetery. Very moving and poignant ceremony and fond memories taken with us from such hallowed grounds....We have enjoyed cruising with Viking so much that we are scheduled for their first ocean cruise in 2015!
