1st time traveling on carnival, and the last time as well. I know carnival is a cheaper price cruise & it reflects in the dining & activities. Ship was clean, rooms are pretty well kept. Staff was very friendly and polite.

Dining was terrible. They served the same thing everyday for breakfast, the meat was all pork. Not much of a variety to choose from. Desert choices were slim outside of ice cream, unsweet fruit. Drink dispensers stayed empty. The pizza station always had a wait of 10 minutes. In the main dinning area, formal night the tables are small & confining. Ordered lobster, it was so small that you only got 4 bites. Portions were very small. I asked for an adjustment to tipping for the dining area, the lady initially told me the staff had nothing to do with it. After a hostile conversation, she made the adjustment. Why tip for terrible food, & bad selection.

Freeport was a joke, nothing to do if you didn't engage in water activities. More Shopping was expensive. (wait and shop in Nassau, better deals)

Nassau was nice. Friendly people. Can get a tour of the Island for about $25.00 pp. Cultural tour, shopping, tour of atlantis (cheaper than cruiseline will offer $45-$60) Ask for Showtime the tour driver, he is a show and lots of fun. Great deals on duty free liquor shopping. All liquor must either be checked in at airport or packed in your suitcase. Great deals, so leave room. While shopping o Bay street, go tho the Straw Market at the end, good bargains on tee shirts, designer knock off purses, native made goods & jewelry. Go to Atlantis & see the hugh aquarium after 6 pm (the Dig) it free, during the day, you can see some of it, but the rest is great to see.

I will never probably ever cruise again with Carnival. I'll stick with Royal Caribbean or Celebrity. Less
