Sail Date: Aug 2014

Our cabin was on the first floor, barely above the waterline, the cheap seats! Room was small but functional. Shower water pressure was good and temps very easily controlled (and hot!).

Not enough electrical outlets. Only one 110 volt and one 220 volt in the room; one 110 volt in bathroom but it was very very high and inconvenient. Take a multiple-outlet strip to charge your cell phone, etc. Soundproofing between rooms is excellent - we never heard anything from either side. Children running up and down the hallways and yelling was not a construction issue... Had friends in Cabin 1291 whose AC did not work well and when the ship stopped the cabin filled with fumes. They reported it several times but were brushed off. Our AC was on max-cool and was barely-but-mostly comfortable, cabin 1401.

Service was excellent throughout the ship - every Carnival employee we encountered was friendly, even if toting piles of dishes or dirty laundry (except about the AC).

Cabin Review

We were in Cabin 1401, near elevators but not tooo near to be disturbed by them.
