Traveled with children

First of all, Jim and I are senior citizens. We traveled with family, our daughter and her husband and two teen agers. My sister-in-law and her husband also traveled with us. We live in N.E. PA so we drove down and my sister-in-law took a van. We haad absolutly no trouble getting to the pier. It took us about two and a half hours. No traffic to speak of even though my sister-in-law was told there was construction at the pier. We had to drop off our two boxers at the kennel so we left a little later. We were travelling Aqua Class and my husband walks with a cane, so we were escorted to the handicapped line and were through the line in about 10 minutes. Very quick and easy. The bus to the ship was next and relatively painless. When we got to the ship, we received a welcome drink and were sent to the Aqua Class elevator with no line! We also received a pass to the brunch in Blu which was very quiet and relaxing after travel. After brunch they announced that the cabins were ready so we headed over to get a look.

We were in cabin 9127 which I chose because it was closer to the central elevators, making it convenient for Jim. The cabin was nice size, a little bigger than the regular balcony which we usually get when we cruise. Welcome champaine was chilling in a bucket. We delivered that to my daughter since we don't drink. They were traveling in the Celebrity Suite so they added it to theirs! There was plenty of storage for two and of course the suitcases fit nicely under the bed. The bathroom was a little small since we had traveled in a small suite last time but it was ok as long as we weren't in it together!

Blu was awesome. MDR not so great. Qusine was terrific. Normandie good. Loved the Aqua Spa Cafe and the coffee shop Bianco, I think. Got a pedicure which was great. Pool area was crowded aqnd yes, some towels were saving chairs when I went for my 7 am walk.

Cabin Review

Aqua Class 9127 was a great cabin. There was more room than the traditional balcony cabin we normally book. Plenty of storage space for two. Small bathroom, but the shower had the funky shower head with massaging jets. Cool! We were close to central elevators which was convenient. No noticeable noise from above since it's not below the pool. Nice balcony, large table and comfy chairs. Overhang great for shade. Great cabin attendants!
