My family and I cruised on RC's Grandeur of the Seas from Baltimore, Maryland, 7/25 to 8/1. Our itinerary included Port Canaveral, Florida; Nassau, Bahamas; Coco Cay, Bahamas. Being experienced cruisers, overall it was a great cruise and I would highly recommend it! Here are a few specifics and helpful hints...

The Port of Baltimore is hands-down the most organized and easy-to-use port. We drove to Baltimore, parked our car for $105 and were on the ship within 15-20 minutes.

Our family of 3 booked a "panoramic ocean view stateroom" on deck 8. Having only stayed on the lower decks (2, 3, and 4) in an inside cabin, I will never go back "down there." For just a bit more money, our accommodations were roomy and comfortable. A good value as far as cabins go! Lots of storage space and a large cabin with a sofa and coffee table by day that made into our daughter's bed at night. Wonderful!
