My friends and I (4 adults) recently returned from a Celebrity/Equinox 7-Night Spanish Interlude cruise and we cannot say enough good things about this experience. We have cruised on other lines (Holland, Princess, Star Clippers, Zeus Cruises) and this one was the winner. We embarked in Rome and were through the whole registration process in about 10 minutes (we arrived at the pier at about 1:00pm). Each and every staff person we encountered was friendly and before we knew it, we were on board. We had business to do at both the Shore Excursions desk and Guest Services desk. Both stations had plenty of friendly and efficient staff to handle the passengers and again, our questions and concerns were dealt with in a timely manner and with no fuss.

The Oceanview Buffet was much larger than any of the other buffets we've encountered -- each and every station was fully stocked with food, there were plenty of choices and finding seating was not an issue at all. Again, the staff were there to assist in any way they could.

Cabins. We booked a verandah cabin and were very pleasantly surprised at the size of the bathroom -- lots of storage space, great lighting and a terrific shower. The room itself was fine -- enough storage in the closets and drawers and of course, luggage under the bed! Our cabin steward greeted us when we arrived and was there whenever we needed something taken care of. Read more
