We spent the spring in Europe book ended by a 2 wk transAtlantic crossing on on this ship and a 2 wk north sea adventure on Celebrity's Infinity from Copenhagen to Iceland an down to UK. Given similarity in size and rating of both boats and an equal number of nights, comparison was interesting - Nieuw Amsterdam wins hands down!!

It was a lovely, cared-for ship with friendly well trained crew, good food, plentiful choice and top notch entertainment and enrichment programs. We have taken other cruises on other lines and found this to be one of our favorite voyages.

Even all those days at sea were well organized. We had great lectures to listen to daily (without trying to sell you anything) and good choices for a mental break by way of say a cooking class. Read more
