Brilliant Cruise: Adventure of the Seas Cruise Review by bamfam4

Shows - went to quite a few of the shows, the Bee Gees was outstanding as was the hypnotist. The singing and dancing shows More were good too. The final show was, however, disappointing. My Daughter went to the ice show which she said was really good. I think we took advantage of most of the facilities onboard - golf, rock climbing, ice skating, pool, table tennis, gym, kids clubs ... There really is something for everyone ! Was great for us as we travelled in a group of 9 ages ranging from 12 to mid 70s.
The shops/shopping events on board were good, reasonably good prices.
Ports of call - shuttle services very poor unless you booked the trips through the cruise (which were very expensive). However, very well organised getting on /off the ship.
Kids clubs - excellent, always plenty to do, hardly saw the children !
Staff on board in general very friendly. The only issue we had was with our free drinks package which was for less than we had been told. Guest services were not helpful with this but I have emailed RCI on our return.
All in all, a really great holiday - from the ease of checking in (not having to fly !), great overall service and attention to detail, fab food and activities, lovely ports of call and meeting lovely new friends. Would definitely recommend. Less

Cabins quite small (myself, my husband and 12 year old ), but plenty of storage space and very quiet and dark !
Port and Shore Excursions
Used a taxi to get into town as although cruise said there would be shuttles ... None were available
Nice town, good shopping
Got the hop on hop off bus for 15euros ... Well worth the money a lot cheaper than with cruise ... Lovely city !
Very expensive for what we got ... Wouldn't do it again
