This was our 4th cruise with Carnival, 3rd on a smaller ship. The Fasnicaition is tastefully decorated with deep rich colors. We had no problems boarding at the port, check in around 12:30 and went straight to our room - ocean view M185. Our cabin steward "Saw" was very helpful and politem kept our room spotless. This particular 5 day cruise was to Nassau and LIttle Stirrup Cay. The cruise activitiy director had plenty of activiites planned very similar to what you would find on a larger ship. The food lines at the buffet as always are long. We didn't dine in the main dining room except one time. Unfortunately I booked so late we couldn't get the my time dining but was assigned the late seating - we didn't like it - so you honestly can find a great dinner selection at the Coconut Bar Buffet - our first night - Striplion - awesome!. Cruise staff were all very polite, friendly, helpful a real treat to enjoy. The ship very clean as the standard for Carnival Cruise lines.

Our second port was Little Stirrup Cay - what a beautiful island, we tendered from the ship - be sure to get your tender ticket before you go to the disembarq level or you can't get on the tender boat. Once again we did our own thing, we asked at the information center how to get to Barefoot beach - we were given the 10 minute walk instructions through part of the beautiful nature trail - we ended up at a uncrowded beach with plenty of lounge chairs and permanent umbrellas. The water is so crystal clear, we saw a shark, found many beautiful conch shells - which you are not allowed to bring back onto the ship - stingray and just had a relaxing time. Then there's the lunch area from 11:30 to 1:30 - very hot, very crowded and the same food as you get on the ship.

Entertainment on this ship is very good for the week we sailed. The DJ's are lively, the comedians funny. We didn't see any of the shows. Watching the ice sculting was awesome to see the artwork come to life in such a short period of time.

Cabin Review

This was our first time with an ocean view cabin - and this cabin had the 3rd bed - pullman style - our room was very spacious - the extra bed was locked and basically appeared to just be a small protrusion of the wall. Our cabin steward kept our room spotless - but I would really have liked the outside window cleaned just to get better photos - plenty of storage space - one thing I will mention - I always carry lysol wipes with me - I cleaned the closet shelves - they were dirty - but other than that - great experience in this cabin.
